Crina CiobanuLegal Director

Crina Ciobanu, a lawyer with over 16 years' experience in business law, joined PORR in January 2022 in the role of Head of the Legal Department.
She is a law graduate from a prestigious university in the United Kingdom and a member of the Bucharest Bar Association, and has previously held the position of Partner in renowned law firms in Romania, managing teams of lawyers, with whom she managed complex transactions and represented clients in numerous international disputes in international commercial and construction law.
As part of the PORR management team, one of her priorities is to create a common vision of the group's values and to share knowledge, know-how and expertise between the teams she advises. Crina aims, through the endeavours of the legal team, to streamline the business and strengthen the company's position on the market as a strong, serious and reliable partner. She constantly ensures that the department she heads is a centre of integrity, promoting ethical principles and protecting the company's interests in order to mitigate the risks and vulnerabilities inherent in its day-to-day business. She also actively advises management on complex legal matters and major transactions with significant impact on the company's business.
Married and the mother of two children, a daughter and a son, Crina enjoys challenges, self-improvement and strongly believes that "Law is the art of good and equity" ( IUS EST ARS BONI ET AEQUI).

Veronica OlteanuHuman Resources and Communication Director

With over 15 years of experience in human resources and organisational development, Veronica joined the PORR Construct team in early June 2020.
In the past, Veronica has held management positions in two financial-banking organisations, BRD Finance and BNP Paribas Personal Finance Paris, Bucharest Branch, successfully contributing to the implementation and leveraging of projects in the area of organisational development, performance management and internal communication.
A graduate of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Veronica strongly believes that every person has the right to reach their potential and that one of the key ingredients for successful organisations is the people-centred approach. Together with the PORR Construct Romania team, Veronica aims to develop the HR strategy, strengthen the role of consultant and business partner of the "HR man", supporting and multiplying the company's success on the local market.
Success for Veronica is measured in the ability to cultivate relationships that "polish" the best version of each of us.
Conversations and moments with her daughter, books, bike rides and mountain hikes are Veronica's sources of energy. She enjoys autobiographical books and psychology, and the book she recommends to any bibliophile is "Learning" by Tara Westover for its powerful message about love, courage and the power of education.

Carmen SchusterProcurement and ESG Director

Carmen Schuster joined PORR Romania in February 2020 in the role of Procurement Director. Since 1998 she has held roles in strategy, business development and building materials operations teams in various international companies. Carmen graduated in 1994 with a degree in foreign languages, specialised in procurement in France from 2002 to 2006, and after a few years became a senior buyer of goods and services globally.
Her experience is based on transforming and innovating sales programmes, business development and procurement programmes.

Radu StănciucTechnical Director PES

Radu has over 9 years of experience in the construction equipment field. His career in PORR started in 2019, when he was involved in the management of construction equipment on an important project for the company. Subsequently, in 2020, he took up the position of Head of Mechanization Department, and since March 2023 he has been promoted to the role of Technical Director Mechanization.
The main responsibilities of this role involve coordinating the team, tracking the department's budget and expenses, as well as analyzing the investment budget for equipment, concrete and asphalt plants, cars, trucks and vans. Important directions he wants to focus on are the digitization of the business and the identification and company-wide implementation of new emerging technologies in construction equipment.
Radu is passionate about what he does and believes that success and performance come if you truly love what you do.

Ana StănicăFinancial Director

Ana graduated from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies with a degree in Business Management and later pursued a master’s program at the same faculty, focusing on Project Management. Her professional activity has consistently been oriented toward the financial field and the management of systems used in business processes.
Her experience in ERP implementation consulting has strengthened her ability to analyze and model business processes, adapting them to the specific context and requirements of the system. At the same time, her involvement in controlling activities and the preparation of reports for management decision-making has helped her gain an overall perspective of companies and pay particular attention to data accuracy.
Exposure to a wide range of industries—manufacturing, services, utilities, telecommunications, and, not least, construction—has consolidated her flexibility and adaptability.
Since her university years, Ana has been guided by a quote from Benjamin Franklin: “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”, constantly seeking to stay up to date with everything new.
